The Mine Train Thru Nature’s Wonderland: How Disneyland Built a Popular Train Ride Inspired by Oscar-winning films.

Frontierland was a favorite part of Disneyland for Walt and many of the visitors. A big part of this section in the 1950s through the 1970s was the seven-acre area called Nature’s Wonderland. Many visitors rode a train through forests, deserts, and into the spectacular multicolored waterfalls of Rainbow Caverns. The development of this area and what it has become today will be discussed.
